Welcome

In the UK, modelling is increasingly used as a tool in fire safety design. Currently, there is no forum in the UK where practitioners, researchers and AHJs can discuss matters relating specifically to fire and smoke modelling or mutually contribute to the state of the art.

Therefore, under the auspices of the IFE Fire Modelling Special Interest Group and supported by the UK Chapter of the SFPE, a UK Fire & Smoke Modelling Forum will be convened. This forum intends to meet biannually and will manifest in a workshop format.

Registration for the 2nd forum, 4th July 2018 in Manchester is open

Registration is now open to attend the July 2018 forum, to be held in C21, Pariser Building, University of Manchester on Wednesday, 4th July.

Attendence can be booked at the Eventbrite site.

The forum will see seven presentations, covering an array of interesting topics. The programme and presentation outlines are detailed on the forum programme page.
